waiting to get in to the lot. and coming up in about 10 minutes we'll take a closer look at black friday across the country. a lot of shoppers are not happy black friday has morphed into black thursday. they are lashing out at major retailers online and threatening to boycott stores that opened early on thanksgiving. and an "i pledge to not shop on thanksgiving" badge is circulating on facebook. it has been shared more than 950-thousand times as of wednesday. this year the holiday shopping season is cut six days shorter than usual because thanksgiving falls later on the calendar. and many retailers fear sales could be flat. >>:"i look down and my skirt is on fire. and i freak out." thankful to be home this thanksgiving.

sasha fleischman is back with family after spending weeks in the hospital recovering from second and third -degree burns. it happened when the skirt sasha was wearing was set on fire while on an a-c transit bus. sasha is gender neutral. sasha spoke publicly yesterday for the first time since the incident. kron-4's justine waldman learned he is not only brave, but his resolve is even more admirable. in bandages cover the second and third degree burns to cover the walls. he will eventually have to work impression that light and to help his healing. there was so much love and support surrounding sasha something the family is extremely grateful for. a banner of a get well messages cover the walls of the fleischmann home. >>: when i was in the hospital every day by parents to bring mixtecs of parts thiand most of them from total strangers and it was just really neat knowing that these were

take a look at some pictures taken of the suspect. he was seen on surveillance camera tuesday morning in a homeowner's bedroom in the 200 block of addison court. the homeowner returned later that afternoon and noticed the break-in was recorded. the suspect is believed to be a hispanic or middle eastern man, with a thin to medium build, short brown hair, brown eyes, a thin mustache and a partial goatee. police believe he got into the house through the backyard.

black friday shoppers stormed stores for the door-busting deals that mark the official start of the holiday shopping season. cnn's andrew spencer reports some shoppers stayed calm and others got pushy. black friday got rowdy at this west palm beach florida over the few deals limited to a limited number of customers. the crowd surges when a couple of people appear to cut and pushing their way to the front has others grab this man's a jacket and tried to pull him. excited shoppers surged into the macy's herald square with a long

forget the black friday deals, and hit the slopes. that's what many people are doing at montana's big sky resort as thrill-seekers were lined up early in the morning to be first people down the mountain this season. hundreds of skiiers and snowboarders got in line before the sun came up on thanksgiving day. the resort open for business at 9 in the morning, but many were waiting as early as 5-30. most of the skiiers say the conditions were perfect. and that it was a great opening day.

annual " clause and pause " portraits with santa evens. the $15 fee for a photograph with santa supports the lost and homeless animals at the shelter. the shelter is located on century court near the sonoma county airport. difficult economic times did not stop local charities -- such as san francisco's saint anthony's foundation -- from providing a wonderful thanksgiving dinner for those in the greatest need. just this week, saint anthony's received 15- hundred turkeys -- about five hundred more than its original goal. and volunteers did everything possible to create a happy holiday for everyone who walked through the doors.
